With no other information I tend to have success with 40/30/30 or so

rh03,
what are your goals? Are you trying to gain weight? lose? maintain?

I think it also depends a lot on how you train (volume, frequency, etc).

I'm still experimenting and learning what works best for me, but I've been trying to lose weight (slowly) and 40/20/20 seems to work best for me.

I've tried going lower carb (40/10/30) but I realized I recover faster and just feel better with a little more carbs, and I still lose weight as long as I'm tracking calories.

Assuming you are looking to get stronger without gaining bad weight, a 40c/30f/30p is a great place for training days, but a 20c/40f/40p will keep you honest on off days. There's a lot of individual variability involved and you've got to test out what works for your body and your goals, but these are good starting points. My biggest piece of advice is to be consistent with a certain split for at least 8 weeks before determining if it "works" for you or not; flip-flopping every few weeks will have you spinning your wheels.

My goals are to maintain my weight. I'm at 235 now which is a good place for my weight class. I do want to drop my body fat under 15% though. I'm at roughly 17.5 right now. Thanks for the replies!

I'm finding the complex carbs make me fat so I'm trying veg and meat with a bit of fruit and protein shakes
